Biography

Laurent Simeca, also known as DJ Pedro, is a French-born artist currently based in Miami, Florida. As one of the hottest talents in the clubhouse music scene for many years, Laurent has established himself as a leader with highly coveted residencies at Miami’s world-famous clubs, MANSION and SET. With previous residencies at the renowned Crobar and Nikki Beach, Laurent has made his presence felt across the globe.

As a producer, Laurent has already achieved significant success with three number-one hit singles under his belt. These include Kluster’s “My Love” and “I Feel Love” in 2002, and Queen vs. the Miami Project’s “Another One Bites the Dust” rework released on the Positiva label in 2007. The latter track became an international floor-filler for several months, reaching number one in the UK charts after rigorous outings in Miami and Ibiza.

Laurent Simeca is a well-known producer who has released tracks on some of the biggest labels in house music, such as the infamous Swedish label “Joia/Nero,” John Dahlback’s “Pickadoll,” Erick Morillo’s “Subliminal,” EDX’s “PinkStar,” D.O.N.S “Kingdom Kome Cuts,” and “Hit Music” (a division of Sony Corp.). With more than 15 years of experience, Laurent has also remixed the biggest names in the industry, including Lenny Kravitz, Brandy, Duran Duran, Dirty Vegas, Bob Sinclar, and Avicii.
