David Kaseta’s diverse ability to produce a wide range of electronic music has enabled him to capture audiences worldwide. Based in Canada, David has been making music since he was 12 years old, playing on a five-piece drum kit. He was previously a member of a four-piece punk rock band called Shot for Shot, where he gained experience playing live gigs and recording demos and EPs in studios. This valuable experience allowed David to gain knowledge of the music and production industry business.
David was fortunate enough to have Skip Prokop, the drummer and co-founder of Lighthouse, as his drumming mentor and manager for the band. This guidance paved the way for David’s confidence and creativity, which has brought him to where he is today.
In 2006, David started experimenting and developing his signature sound. His first EP was released in 2009 with Bonzai Records, garnering the attention and support of Yves Deruyter, Airwave, Alex Morph, and Markus Schulz. David’s track, “Perfect Dimension,” was featured on Markus Schulz’s Global Dj Broadcast and charted on the Top 100 Beatport Trance Chart, which was a catalyst in David’s musical career.
David has also successfully charted on trackitdown.net and Dj Tunes, gaining a much broader audience within tech house and house genres. He went on to co-found the record label London Loud and shortly after hosted London Loud Sessions Radio on Digitally Imported tech house channel. The show featured world-famous guests such as Carlo Lio, Nathan Barato, Riva Starr, and Wehbba. David played at after-hours venues in Toronto and was a resident DJ at Barking Frog (London) and Co-Co’s (Grand Bend), which gave him the stage to make his presence known. He has opened up for well-known DJs such as Kevin Saunderson, Funk Agenda, and Carlo Lio.
David’s inspiring fusion between deep house and tech house includes percussive elements, melodic grooves, and vocals with a touch of an underground vibe. His sound is unique and timeless, and he continues to release music on various labels. Join him on his musical journey as he continues to unfold.
